These tools, that are

Organizing Your Neighborhood
A successful neighborhood-based project
starts and concludes with communication, education, and commitment. Those persons
who want to accomplish a project must review on a regular basis the
successes they are having in all three areas.
Generally, a task force comes together
around a concern perceived by many in a neighborhood, but not yet widely
articulated. The enthusiasm generated by the task force steering committee
engenders interest, concern, and ideas from their friends and neighbors.
This can lead to a defined project scope and an action plan. However, the
good intentions of the action plan can be defeated by rumors and
alternative agendas. Communication with the individuals and groups to be
affected by the plan must be continuous. Regularly scheduled neighborhood
newsletters, telephone trees, demonstrations, and coffee chats should be
utilized. Enlisting neighborhood representatives is key to spreading
information by word of mouth. Trusted communication channels need to be
identified and used to present information and messages that are persuasive
and motivating.
A simply-stated mission statement or
objective is essential to effective communication. The objective of the
action plan will thereby lose less in its translation between individuals.
Likewise, the goals and implementation measures need to be simply stated,
few in number, and, by consensus, achievable within a reasonable time line.
Whereas communication within a
neighborhood deals with "where" and "what" the action
plan is about, education tells "when" and "why."
Education uses some of the same means as mentioned before, but it gets to
the specifics. Through the use of pamphlets, demonstrations, community
meetings, and the recounting of personal experiences, the reason for the
action plan, its scope, and time line can be continually reinforced and
refined as information and opinion are passed back and forth. The action
plan may be altered by the education process. In some situations, as a
result of the education process, the issue may be found non-existent or
unachievable. More likely, it will be reinforced. It is the steering
committee's task to monitor this process and respond through the
communication channels.
Commitment to seeing the issue
successfully resolved is the "how" part of the equation. A
community resolves an issue only through the on-going commitment of
leaders. Almost always the leaders will be those that coalesced initially
around the issue. It is their vision, reached by consensus, that will drive
the project to success. As the steering committee, they establish the
mission statement, set the goals, design the implementation methods, and
most importantly, assess the outcome.
The leaders work as a community
consensus group, but one person must work separately from the group as the
project coordinator. This person (or persons) is the central clearing
house, liaison, and administrator for the project. Whether a volunteer or
paid staff member, the project coordinator implements the action plan as
directed by the steering committee while overseeing communications and
education.
With adherence to communication,
education, and commitment, a neighborhood community project can be
successful

· The very worst thing about “Agenda 21”
is, they are implementing it in an un-American way because it is anti-
American. They know if we the people
were asked to vote on it and ratify it by each state, it would never pass.
· They are all guilty. This is not about being a Democrat or a
Republican it’s about being an American.
Every elected official who is sneaking this past the citizens of
this country is not worthy of calling themselves an American.
· There is no middle road here. You either support implementing Agenda 21
or you oppose implementing Agenda 21.
Which flag is your flag?
AGENDA
21 FREEDOM
21

· Make “Agenda 21” an election issue for your
Congressman.
· “Agenda 21” should be a public debate
issue. Let’s bring “Agenda 21” out
of the closet and shine the bright light of scrutiny on the subject so all
Americans know what’s happening.
· Become an anti-soviet, become a Freedom
21 Fighter.
· To be a Freedom 21 Fighter you don’t have
to join anything. You don’t have to
pay any dues. You don’t have to
attend any meetings. You just have
to learn about Agenda 21 because you can’t fight something you know nothing
about. Then you must share your knowledge
with your friends and neighbors. And
the next time you meet someone who is running for elected office, any
office, ask them where they stand on Agenda 21 “sustainable development”. Be a Freedom 21 Fighter!
· May GOD Bless the United States of America.
